Your visit

Do I need an appointment?

Walk-ins are welcome. Booking ahead is best, because it keeps your wait short.

What does it cost?

All of our services are free and confidential. No insurance is needed.

What should I expect at my visit?

A friendly receptionist will introduce you to a registered nurse. Your nurse offers a judgment-free space to talk, answers your questions, and gives you a pregnancy test.

If the test is positive, your nurse may perform an ultrasound to assess the pregnancy and estimate how far along you are.

Will you tell anyone about my visit?

Your privacy matters. Ask our team about confidentiality before your visit. Our privacy policy explains how information may be used and shared.

Who can come to ZoeCare?

Anyone who needs us. Our services are available regardless of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, or disability.

Pregnancy tests and ultrasound

How soon can a pregnancy test tell?

Our nurse can explain when to test and whether you need a repeat test.

Contact our team if you have questions about a result.

When should I make an appointment?

If you have missed a period, think you might be pregnant, or have any questions about pregnancy.

How does the free ultrasound work?

After a first conversation with one of our nurses, we offer an on-site ultrasound. It is performed by a registered nurse or a registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) and reviewed by a licensed physician.

It can help assess the pregnancy and estimate how far along you are.

Considering abortion

I'm pregnant and considering abortion. What's next?

We offer a free options consultation with a nurse. You can talk through your questions about pregnancy, parenting, adoption, and abortion. A qualified healthcare professional can advise you about your medical care.

How can I get the abortion pill?

A qualified abortion provider can explain medication abortion, eligibility, and available care.

ZoeCare offers a free options consultation if you would like to talk through your questions. This consultation does not replace care from an abortion provider.

How much does an abortion cost?

It depends on the provider and on how far along you are. Knowing how far along you are is the first step, and our ultrasound is free.

Partners and families

Can men come to ZoeCare?

Yes. We offer free STD testing for men, partners are welcome in our parenting classes, and our Fatherhood Program offers mentoring for dads.

If your partner might be pregnant, you can help her book an appointment and come along if she wants you there.

Can someone come with me?

Yes. Support people are encouraged to come to your appointment and participate in it, as long as you want them there. At all of our locations, whoever comes with you can watch the ultrasound, if you choose.
